The Story Behind ANZ International
From pharmaceutical imports in 1989 to a four-sector industrial group — Ginseng worldwide since 2008, official KONKA·HAIER·DSP distribution since 2018, Mumtaz Complex in 2023, and the $150M Kandahar Cement Factory.
Rooted in Kandahar, Growing Worldwide
Ahmed Nabi Zada Ltd was established in 1989, beginning with pharmaceutical imports — a business built on trust, reliability and delivering exactly what was promised.
In 2008 the group founded Ginseng Energy Drink and focused on building it into a global brand. In 2018, ANZ became the official nationwide distributor of KONKA, HAIER and DSP. In 2023 we handed over Mumtaz Complex and broke ground on the $150M Kandahar Cement Factory — fully privately owned and among the largest private projects in Southern Afghanistan.
